About Me

I am a Professor in the Department of Digital Media and Communication at Ionian University. I received my Degree (BEng) from the Polytechnic Faculty of University of Patras in 1994, and Doctoral Degree in 1999 from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). From 1999 until 2001 I worked as a scientific associate in NTUA and from 2001 to 2008 I worked as Special Scientist in Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission (EETT). In 2008 I joined the faculty of the Department of Business Administration of the Technological Educational Institute of the Ionian Islands, as an Assistant Professor. My main scientific interests are related to the Framework of Electronic Communication Services provision. In particular I have more than 20 years of experience in Electronic Communications Sector in several issues, such as: regulation and competition in electronic communications markets, digital media & communications, personal data and privacy, development of broadband networks, performance evaluation of broadband intelligent networks. I have participated in several relevant project at national and EU level, while I have published several articles in the above areas in international journals and conferences.
