I am an Enterprise Analytics & Big Data technology manager at Oracle, where I lead an amazing team of very talented data engineers and data scientists. Me and my team are working towards the direction of helping make data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), practical and easy for businesses. I have over nineteen (19) years of experience in the IT industry in assisting customers align IT strategies with corporate strategic objectives in business intelligence, data warehousing & analytics departments and divisions. Having worked and collaborated with very different people in a plethora of countries and cultures over these years, I have acquired, a comprehensive understanding for each step required for implementing secure, robust, easily extendable and productive solutions for his customers. My expertise and interests span across a range of areas and includes hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing in VLDB and Big Data by utilizing state of the art technologies for Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL), data streaming, data cleansing & consolidation, data modeling, data visualization & reporting, graph and OLAP for multi-dimensional analysis, artificial intelligence (AI) and much more.

I have a unique depth and breadth of data experience having worked across many sectors and industries like telecommunications, energy, banking, healthcare, insurance, retail, media and aviation. I have been awarded with various and prestigious prizes such as Oracle’s Most valuable player (MVP) of the year, Best Oracle’s contribution award on the field of Analytics and Business Intelligence, Top Performance of the year etc.  I am a certified Business Intelligence Professional from Data Warehouse Institute of America (TDWI) with Data Integration specialty (CBIP). Additionally, I am Oracle’s certified professional, specialist and architect In Autonomous Databases, Big Data, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Last but not least, I am certified expert in data modeling & ETL design for multi-dimensional hypercubes from Kimbal’s University in Sweden.

I hold an M.Sc in Information systems from the University of Sheffield and an B.Sc in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire.
