About Me

I hold a diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, where I specialized in automated pathology diagnosis and prognosis using artificial intelligence. I’ve taught extensively at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, covering courses in biomedical engineering, medical imaging, and artificial intelligence in healthcare. I’ve participated as a researcher and technical coordinator in multiple international Horizon 2020/Europe research projects, and I’ve coordinated grant proposals for national and European funding programs. My research focuses on developing advanced machine learning algorithms for medical imaging—including radiological images, endoscopy, and dermoscopy—and clinical decision support systems. I’ve published in leading international peer-reviewed journals and supervised thesis projects in the field of AI in healthcare.
