Dr. Dimitrios D. Piromalis is Assistant Professor in the Industrial Design and Production Engineering Department at the University of West Attica (UNIWA) in Athens, Greece. His is the director of the research lab of Electronic Automation, Telematics and Cyber-Physical Systems (EATCPS). His research interests include the design and development of electronic embedded systems in application areas such as autonomous vehicles, internet of things, and cyber-physical systems. He is author of more than one hundred and twenty publications in international scientific research journals, conferences and book chapters with high impact and many citations. Also, he is author of many books covering engineering subjects. In addition, prof. Piromalis has been collaborated with top multinational semiconductors industries as Field Application Engineer and Technical Consultant for the last twenty-five years.
