I am a DevOps engineer at the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering of the University of West Attica (UniWA) and head of the CONSERT’s Cloud computing team. Moreover, I am a post-Doc researcher at the UniWA in the field of “Secure Resource Management in Next Generation Networks”, where the Blockchain technology is one of the main fields of study. I received my PhD degree in 2023 from the Department of Industrial Design and Production Engineering of the UniWA and my research concerns are on the Networking and Cloud Computing sector. During the last decade, I was actively involved in the design and development of CONSERT’s laboratory on-premises private cloud infrastructure based on OpenStack cloud software, while recently, I was nominated as the organizer of OpenStack’s meetup group in Athens supported by the OpenInfra Foundation. Recently I received the title of NVIDIA Certified Associate: AI in the Data Center, where I examined the use of GPU-accelerated cloud infrastructure for the support of demanding AI workloads. The last few years I was involved with several EU projects: TRILLION, STORM and FASTER of H2020.
