I received my first degree in Textiles from the National Textile College, a BSc in Electronics from KATEE Piraeus, the engineering diploma in Electrical and Computers Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and my PhD also from the National Technical University of Athens.

I have served as Director of a Section and Head of the Department of Electronics Engineering. I was member of the Administration Council and vice Rector of the Piraeus University of Applied Sciences. Later, I was member of the Administration Committee of the University of West Attica. Now, I am Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Institutional Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program of the University of West Attica.
